Easter: Hon Akpanke meets stakeholders of Obanliku, Obudu in Calabar
The Member Representing Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Akpanke, met with stakeholders from Obanliku and Obudu in Calabar as part of his Easter outreach to constituents residing in Calabar. Hon Peter Akpanke used the opportunity to update his constituents on his legislative activities and other issues of importance to the Federal constituency.
The meeting with Obanliku Stakeholders held at the residences of Ukani Dave Ashangs house, and Obudu at Dr Ken Aklah’s residence with distinguished sons and daughters of Obanliku and Obudu in attendance.
During the meeting, Prof. Undie John appealed for the renaming of the Federal College of Education (FCE), Obudu, to Joseph Wayas University, noting that John Tarkar University was established through similar advocacy efforts.
Notable attendees from Obanliku include; Bar. Mike Aniah, Hon. (Dr) Sunny Achunekang, Assoc. Prof Ambe Benjamin, Prof. Mike Ushie, Dr M.T. Ikwen, Chapter Chairman of the APC in Obanliku Mr Tom Ashibi, Elder Agba Ebenezer, Pst. Adah Timothy, Dr Inakefe Gabriel, Dr Achung Uyanah.
Obudu Stakeholders were; APC State Woman Leader, Mrs Monica Ugi, Chairman of Obudu LGA, Hon. Dr. Peter Akonfe Undiadeye, Hon.Ken Aklah, Chief Tony Undiandeye, former Chairman of Obudu Hon.Bonny Eraye, Prof. Georg Atelhe, Mr zack Agba, Obudu Chapter Chairman of the APC, Mr Odama Joseph.
