Vice President Shettima, SGF, others to grace Veritas inaugural lecture

Vice President Kashim Shettima and other prominent leaders in the public and private sectors are set to be part of the 8th Inaugural lecture of the Veritas University Bwari, Abuja.
The event which will be hosted by Veritas University Bwari, Abuja in collaboration with Apollos University Florida, USA shall have the subject of leadership as key in every organisation .
The inaugural lecture titled, “REINVENTING LEADERSHIP: STRATEGIES FOR ORGANISATIONAL RE-ENGINEERING AND ENTREPRENEURIAL SUCCESS will be presented By Prof. (Barr.) Gabriel Okenwa.
The world class event according to the organisers will hold on Wednesday, 23rd April, 2025 at the Veritas University, New Multipurpose Hall.
In a statement by the organisers, the lecture will be chaired by former Governor of Imo State His Excellency, Dr. Ikedi Ohakim and the book will be unveiled by Dame Dr. Adaora Umeoji, Group Managing Director/CEO, Zenith Bank Plc and Barrister Seun Faleye, Managing Director/CE, Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).
Amongst those expected at the lecture include: Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), Sen. George Akume, Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, Imo State Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, Cross River State Governor, Sen. Bassey Otu, Commandant General, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Associate Professor Ahmed Audi, and President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN.
Others are President, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Prof. Pius Olarenwaju, FCIB, National President of Papal Knights in Nigeria, Steve Adehi, SAN, and leaders in the public and private sectors of our economy.
Furthermore, it was gathered that after the lecture there will be a Dinner Reception and Presentation of the Inaugural lecturer’s 7th book titled the, “THE Making of a Lawyer” .
The Inaugural lecture promises to attract so many dignitaries from the academia, Banking industry, public and private sector players.
