Beautiful Liars!!!
Be cautious about believing the information people share about themselves, especially if you live in any of the major cities and have only recently met. The reason is simple: many cities are teeming with single and married individuals who have left their home states to pursue dreams or a better life.
Among them are married men who have left their wives and children in another location while they search for greener pastures in the city. Consequently, much of what you know about people when you first meet them will likely come from what they choose to tell you—most of which cannot be verified unless they are public figures or have a reputation that indicates who they truly are.
The fact that you met someone in a place of worship is no longer sufficient grounds to assume their character or intentions are upright. These are perilous times, and many hearts have grown callous. Deceit lies, pretence, and disloyalty abound. If you are genuine and morally upright, you simply cannot afford to be naïve.
Regardless of how virtuous or saintly the person you are dating—or considering marriage with—appears to be, it is crucial to conduct thorough checks to ensure their words align with the truth. This is why it is essential to make God the centre of your relationship from the very beginning. Only He truly knows everyone, sees all things, and reveals secrets—if you ask Him and remain attentive to His guidance.
Not long ago, in the city where I reside, a man got romantically involved with a woman, and they eventually got married. It later emerged that he already had a wife and children in another city—a fact he had carefully concealed from the new woman. In his new environment, it was easy for him to lie about his marital status. Why he chose to do this, only he can explain.
Be wise. Stay alert. Pay close attention to details and your instincts. These times are perilous, and you cannot afford to let your guard down.
Guard your heart diligently. Exercise caution about who you grant access to your inner circle, as it could mean the difference between life and death.
Be sober. Be vigilant. These are truly wicked times, and there are countless “beautiful lads” in the city.
Do you feel me?
