Tinubu approves new Hostels, Road Project for Nigerian Law School Abuja
President Bola Tinubu has given approval for the immediate construction of new hostel blocks at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja Campus, as well as a major road project linking the Body of Benchers Secretariat in Jabi District to Nile University.
The announcement was contained in a statement released on Tuesday by Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.
According to the directive, the projects are to be undertaken under emergency consideration. The hostel development will consist of two purpose-built blocks, each designed to accommodate 300 students—one for female students and the other for male students. The initiative aims to greatly improve accommodation facilities at the Abuja Law School campus.
In addition, Tinubu ordered the construction of a new access road to link the Body of Benchers Secretariat with Nile University. The FCT Minister’s office noted that the project would not only improve access to the Secretariat but also help reduce traffic congestion along the busy corridor that leads to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) headquarters.
