ETSU NUPE Yahaya Abubakar congratulates Gov Bago on peaceful conduct of LG elections
The Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, has congratulated Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago on the successful conduct of the Local Government Council elections in the state.
He gave the commendation when he led Kingmakers and other traditional title holders from the Bida Emirate on a courtesy visit to the Governor at the Government House, Minna.
Etsu Nupe described the elections as peaceful, fair, and credible, assuring the Governor of the Emirate’s continued support for his administration’s developmental agenda. He also pledged continued prayers for the success of the government and lauded the Bago-led administration for delivering the dividends of democracy to the people.
In his response, Governor Bago appreciated the Etsu Nupe for his consistent advice and goodwill. He reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of Niger State residents and promised to accelerate development across the state.
The Governor further assured the traditional rulers of his unwavering support, describing them as vital partners in driving sustainable development. He prayed for Allah’s continued blessings, wisdom, and long reign for the Etsu Nupe.
