The ongoing 83km Minna–Bida Road project in Niger State is steadily improving, with motorists now spending significantly less time travelling between the two cities.

According to the latest update, a journey that previously took more than three hours can now be completed in about one and a half hours as construction work continues on the major road.

The improvement has been described by supporters of Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago’s administration as part of the “Bago effect”, highlighting the impact of the ongoing infrastructure projects across the state.

The Minna–Bida corridor is expected to further improve connectivity, movement of people and goods, and economic activities across the communities along the route as work progresses.
