Police inspector dies during encounter with woman in Abuja
A police inspector, Lawal Ibrahim, attached to Kwali Division in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has reportedly died during a private encounter with a woman at Palasa Guest Inn in Gwagwalada.
Sources indicate that the incident occurred on Thursday morning, following Ibrahim’s meeting with Maryam Abba, a resident of Dutse in Jigawa State, whom he had reportedly connected with on social media three months earlier.
It is alleged that after a second round of intimacy, Ibrahim became unresponsive. Efforts to revive him proved unsuccessful, and he was later pronounced dead at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital.
The police have taken Maryam into custody, and items recovered from the scene include watermelon, a substance suspected to be an aphrodisiac, a phone charger, and the deceased officer’s identity card.
The authorities are continuing investigations into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the officer’s death.
