Governor Umo Eno reshuffles cabinet
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has approved a reshuffling of portfolios within the State Executive Council.
In a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, Captain Iniobong Ekong (Rtd), who previously served as Commissioner for Lands and Town Planning, has been moved to head the Ministry of Trade and Investment. Dr. Ubong Iyang, who was in charge of Trade and Investment, will now serve as the Commissioner for Lands and Town Planning.
Governor Eno explained that the reshuffle is a strategic step aimed at strengthening the government’s effectiveness and improving service delivery to the people of the state.
