Tinubu ends vacation early, to return to Abuja Tuesday
President Bola Tinubu has concluded his work vacation ahead of schedule and will return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, to resume official duties.
The announcement was made on Monday in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, who confirmed that Tinubu would return 11 days after leaving Nigeria for France as part of his annual holiday, which was initially planned to be split between France and the United Kingdom.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has concluded his work vacation ahead of schedule and will return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, to resume official duties,” Onanuga stated.
During his stay in Paris, Tinubu met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace, where they held a private luncheon and discussed strengthening bilateral ties to promote mutual prosperity and global stability.
