The Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, says the Federal Government is set to make public the identities of individuals and networks bankrolling terrorism in Nigeria.

Speaking during a Sunday interview on Television Continental (TVC), Bwala disclosed that the Tinubu administration is already taking “far-reaching decisions” in the security sector, with outcomes that Nigerians will begin to see in the coming days.

According to him, terrorism has evolved into a borderless threat, making global partnerships indispensable in the fight against extremist violence. He noted that world powers increasingly recognise the need to support nations like Nigeria, where insurgent elements have tried to expand their foothold.

“Since 9/11, terrorism has been elevated to a global security emergency. Any country where terrorists take root automatically becomes a concern for the rest of the world,” he said.

He stressed that international collaboration remains crucial as extremist activities continue shifting from the Middle East into the Sahel, turning the region into a new corridor of instability that demands coordinated action.

Bwala confirmed that the Tinubu administration is ramping up domestic efforts to disrupt terror financing and dismantle local cells aiding insurgency.

“At home, the government is making decisive interventions. In the coming days, Nigerians will know who the terrorists are and those funding them,” he stated.
