Cristiano Ronaldo reached another landmark moment in his career on Thursday, scoring his 100th Saudi Pro League goal as Al-Nassr defeated Al-Shabab 4–2 in a thrilling encounter that tightened their grip on the league title race.

The 41-year-old forward finished clinically at the near post after connecting with a Sadio Mané cross in the 75th minute, putting Al-Nassr ahead 3–1. The strike marked his 971st career goal and his 26th league goal of the season, taking his overall tally for Al-Nassr to 127 goals across all competitions.

Al-Nassr head coach Jorge Jesus praised Ronaldo’s impact, saying the Portuguese star remains a constant attacking threat and continues to deliver in decisive moments.

The match also saw a standout performance from João Félix, who netted a hat-trick to power Al-Nassr’s dominant attacking display as they extended their lead at the top of the Saudi Pro League table to five points over rivals Al-Hilal.

With 82 points and just two matches left, Al-Nassr are now within touching distance of the league title. The upcoming derby against Al-Hilal on May 12 could mathematically secure the championship for Ronaldo and his teammates, depending on other results.

Beyond the league race, Al-Nassr still have another major target ahead, with the Asian Champions League Two final against Gamba Osaka scheduled for May 16, offering Ronaldo a chance to add further silverware to his already decorated career.
