JUST-IN: Atiku, Makinde hold closed-door strategic meeting with IBB in Minna
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar arrived at the private hilltop residence of former Military President General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd) in Minna, Niger State, on Tuesday afternoon.
Atiku, who got to IBB’s residence shortly after 1 p.m., immediately proceeded into a closed-door session with the former President. According to sources gathered by LEADERSHIP, the meeting focused on strategic consultations regarding the ongoing electoral reforms, particularly the e-transmission of election results, as well as new tax laws and other national issues.
Approximately 40 minutes into the session, Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, joined the discussions.
It is expected that either Atiku or General Babangida will make statements to the press following the meeting.
