BREAKING: Governor Fubara denied entry as Rivers Assembly gates remain locked VIDEO
A tense situation unfolded on Wednesday at the Rivers State House of Assembly Complex as Governor Siminalayi Fubara arrived, only to find the gates locked.
Newsmen observed that security personnel at the premises secured the entrance just as the governor’s convoy approached.

According to the security officers, the decision to lock the gates stemmed from the assertion that no official communication had been received from the governor regarding his visit.
However, Governor Fubara countered this claim, stating that he had formally written to Speaker Martins Amaewhule and had attempted to reach him by phone since Tuesday.
