Man Utd must keep believing in European push, says Heaven
Former Manchester United midfielder, Jonathan Heaven, has called on the Red Devils to remain confident in their pursuit of European football despite their inconsistent Premier League form this season.
Heaven, speaking during a sports programme on Tuesday, urged the players and coaching staff to “stay focused and fight till the end,” insisting that the team still has a realistic chance of securing a European spot if they maintain discipline and consistency.
According to him, Manchester United’s recent performances show signs of improvement, but the squad must avoid wasting opportunities in key matches.
He said the team’s supporters “deserve a strong finish,” adding that unity on and off the pitch will be crucial as the season approaches its final stretch.
Manchester United currently sit outside the top four, but Heaven believes a late surge could change the club’s fortunes.
The Red Devils return to league action this weekend as they continue their battle for a European berth.
