“Stripping for Love: Beyond the physical”

By Sharoneez Emephia
There are certain things you can only truly discover about a person when you begin to share more of your time, space, and life together. This stage of a relationship should be a deeply special and humbling experience—stripping for the sake of love!
It is a privilege when your partner opens their heart to you. This is not an invitation to become overly critical, condescending, or so familiar that you begin to disrespect or dishonour them. Such attitudes are detrimental to any relationship.
Sustaining a strong and fulfilling relationship or marriage requires continuous maturity, selfless love, and understanding.
Intimacy is not solely about sex; it is about trust—being able to confide in someone with your most private thoughts, dreams, desires, weaknesses, and even fantasies without feeling vulnerable or judged. Be the sanctuary where your partner finds comfort amidst life’s daily challenges.
Additionally, learn to keep your love life private. Not everyone who inquires about your relationship genuinely cares about its well-being. Many are simply looking for something to gossip about behind your back.
Be wise. Keep your business to yourself. What people do not know, they cannot ruin.
Do you feel me?
