Vice President Kashim Shettima, shortly after attending Senegal’s 65th Independence Anniversary at the invitation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has traveled to Shagamu, Ogun State, for the commissioning of the Sulaiman Adebola Adegunwa Trauma Centre.
The event, which will take place at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), marks the 80th birthday of Asiwaju Sulaiman A. Adegunwa, a renowned businessman and philanthropist, and former chairman of Sterling Bank Plc and CEO of Essay Holdings Limited, the parent company of Rite Foods Limited.
Vice President Shettima will be joined by Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who is the Chief Host for the occasion.
The trauma centre, which is a collaborative project between the Sulaiman Adebola Adegunwa Foundation and the Board and Management of OOUTH, is expected to provide world-class healthcare services and enhance trauma care in the region.
