President Bola Tinubu has met with the newly appointed service chiefs at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to discuss ways to strengthen security across the country.
Those at the meeting included the Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, and Chief of Air Staff.
They reportedly talked about how to tackle insecurity, including insurgency, bandit attacks, and oil theft, as well as how to improve cooperation among the armed forces.

It was the first official meeting between the President and the new security heads since they assumed office.
