BBNaija returns as organisers tease Season 11, auditions set to begin soon
Organisers of the popular reality television show Big Brother Naija have officially hinted at the return of the programme for its 11th season, with auditions expected to open in the coming weeks.
The announcement was made in a post on the show’s official X handle on Tuesday, where a teaser video was shared alongside the message: “Biggie is calling. Are you ready to answer?” The post also added, “It’s back. Auditions coming soon!”, sparking widespread excitement among fans of the long-running reality series.
The new season follows the conclusion of Season 10, which premiered on July 26, 2025, featuring 29 housemates competing for the ₦150 million grand prize.
Season 10 introduced several changes to the format, including a revised Head of House challenge structure where Sunday games determined temporary leadership, while Monday tasks could alter outcomes. Housemates who finished last in tasks were automatically placed up for eviction.
The season also featured new twists such as the “Bag of Big Twists” controlled by the Head of House, the “red telephone” delivering random instructions from Biggie, and the “Influential Player of the Week” feature designed to intensify strategy within the house.
At the end of the season, Imisi Ayanwale emerged winner with 42.8 percent of the votes, defeating finalists including Dede, Koyin, Sultana, Kola, Jason Jae, Mensan, Isabella and Kaybobo. Her win added to the list of BBNaija champions such as Mercy Eke, Laycon, Whitemoney, Phyna and Ilebaye.
With Season 11 now on the horizon, anticipation is building as viewers await audition details, eligibility criteria and potential new twists for the upcoming edition.
