CAF appoints Nigerian Officials for 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has designated four Nigerian officials to oversee the forthcoming 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Ethiopia and Uganda.
Patience Madu has been assigned as the centre referee, with Abibatu Iyaduni Yusuf and Mfom Friday Akpan assisting her. Hannah Eliagwu will serve as the fourth official.
Deide Camil Zealand from South Africa will act as the referee assessor, while Christine Mukanboka of Rwanda has been appointed as the Match Commissioner.
The second-leg fixture of the first-round tie is scheduled for next Wednesday at the Abebe Bekila Stadium in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Uganda secured a 2-0 victory in the first leg held in Kampala on Friday.
