Senators’ Wives mourn with colleague Hajia Laila Barau over Mother’s death
The Senators’ Wives Association of Nigeria (SEWAN) has extended heartfelt condolences to one of its members, Hajia Laila Barau, following the death of her mother, Mrs. Nelda Mohammed, describing the loss as deeply painful and irreplaceable.
In a statement signed by the association’s President, Dr. (Mrs.) Unoma Godswill Akpabio, and made available to journalists in Abuja, SEWAN expressed sympathy with Hajia Barau and her entire family during their time of mourning.
“We, the Senators’ Wives Association of Nigeria, extend our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your beloved mother. This irreparable loss undoubtedly brings immense grief to you and your family,” the statement read.
The association also offered its condolences to the Deputy Senate President, Senator Jibrin Barau, who is also affected by the bereavement, and prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased.
“May the memories of your mother’s love, wisdom, and legacy bring you strength and comfort during this difficult time. We stand in solidarity with you, sharing in your sorrow and offering our deepest sympathies,” SEWAN added.
The association prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the late Mrs. Nelda Mohammed eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.
