air transport operations to commence at Ahmed Bola Tinubu Airport, aminna
Niger State Governor, farmer Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago has disclosed that traffic will commence at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Minna by April this year.
Farmer Governor Umaru Bago disclosed this when he hosted the Son of the President Seyi Tinubu, the Minister of Youth development Ayodele Olawande, CEO National Agricultural Land Development Authority Cornelius Oluwasegun Adebayo on a courtesy visit to the Government House Minna.
He explained that commercial air transport operations will commence in earnest from Lagos to Minna on a daily basis adding that by June, it will extend to Kano explaining that the plan is to have ten aircrafts operating at the airport
Farmer Umaru Bago explained that two out of the ten aircrafts will be cargoes that will be used in shipping goods to Brazil and Saudi Arabia.
He described the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport Minna as the first of its kind in the Country adding that the Cargo and Hajj terminal at the airport are landmark initiatives aimed at changing livelihoods of the citizenry.
