Davido assurance

A couple of weeks ago, I attended a youth event, and as the programme progressed, a group of teenage girls gave a presentation about their ideal man, dream love life, and marriage. They described it in glowing terms as “The Davido Assurance.”
For the benefit of those who may not know, Davido is one of Nigeria’s top secular music artistes. A few years ago, he bought his then-girlfriend—now his wife—a state-of-the-art car and even honoured her in one of his hit songs. This grand gesture has since become the envy and aspiration of many single women in certain circles. They dream of a man who will lavish them with material wealth and, perhaps, even dedicate a song or two to them. The “Davido Assurance.”.
I would like to enlighten any single lady aspiring for this kind of “Assurance.” First and foremost, there is nothing wrong with desiring a good life with a man who will love and honour you. However, it is important to understand that such things do not simply happen. There is a price for every prize!
Nothing just happens. No sensible, worthy man picks a woman who lacks ambition, is uninspiring, parasitic, disrespectful, prideful, or disloyal and then decides to love and honour her. You must be prepared and willing to pay the price for the quality of partner you desire.
If you dream of a certain kind of person, first consider what kind of person they would find desirable. Then, map out a plan and work towards becoming that person. Only then will you be on the path to securing the “assurance” of your dream partner or spouse. Otherwise, it will remain nothing more than an elusive fantasy.
Attract what you desire by embodying the qualities you admire—beyond mere physical appearance.
Keep chasing your dreams. If you have yet to discover your unique purpose and contribution to the world, begin that journey of self-discovery. Live your dreams, and in due time, you will cross paths with the partner with whom you will share a fulfilling and meaningful life. That will be your own “Assurance.”
(I have left the space for you to insert the name of the love of your life when you find them.)
Until next time on this platform, keep living, keep loving, and keep pursuing your dreams.
Much love,
Sharoneez
