Edo Police recover AK-47 Rifle as manhunt for kidnap suspects continues

The Edo State Police Command has intensified efforts to apprehend suspected kidnappers, recovering an AK-47 rifle loaded with 22 rounds of live ammunition during an operation in Okhuesan Forest along the Okhuesan-Ewohimi road.
The recovery, made on 3 February 2025 at approximately 5:30 p.m., followed the successful rescue of three kidnapped victims. Under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Betty Enekpen Isokpan Otimenyin, the command remains committed to tackling crime and ensuring the safety of residents.
