Flying Eagles begin final preparations for 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have officially commenced the final phase of their preparations for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Abuja.
The team, under Coach Aliyu Zubairu, previously spent a month in Katsina for the first stage of their training. A total of 35 players, including seven foreign-based professionals, have been invited to the final training camp.
The squad boasts a strong core of players, many of whom were part of the victorious team that won the WAFU B Under-20 Championship in Togo last year.
Nigeria is placed in Group B for the tournament, where they will face Egypt, Morocco, and South Africa. The competition is set to take place from April 26 to May 18, 2025.
