Gwagwalada-Giri – Zuba express highway in deadly gridlock
A serious traffic incident has caused a massive gridlock on the Gwagwalada-Giri-Zuba Express Highway, leaving countless motorists trapped. The chaos began when a soldier reportedly assaulted a truck driver.
In a drastic act of protest, the driver maneuvered his truck to block the entire road before abandoning the vehicle and fleeing the scene.
The blockade has brought all traffic to a complete standstill, with vehicles stretching for miles in both directions.
Commuters, including those heading to and from Abuja, are stuck with no alternative routes.

The situation is compounded by the fact that the truck is positioned in a way that makes it impossible for other vehicles to pass, and there are no immediate reports of an effort to move it.
