Rivers: Troops recover 25,OOO litres of stolen oil products, arrest 17 oil thieves
Troops of 6 division Nigerian army have continued to maintain the success recorded in combating the illegal oil bunkering in the Niger Delta region.
Spokesman of the 6 division Nigerian army, lieutenant colonel Danjuma Jonah said in the recent operations that lasted between 17 to 23 February, 2O25 ,17 supected oil thieves were arrested as eighteen illegal refining camps were completely destroyed.

Lieutenant colonel Danjuma stated this at 6 division headquarters in port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital..
Also according to The Army spokesman, ten speed boats used for the unlawful business were demobilized as 25,OOO litres of stolen products were recovered.
Lieutenant colonel Danjuma Also noted that the operations were carried out in Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta States.

Meanwhile,the general officer commanding 6 division Nigerian army,major general Eric Emekah who commended the troops for a job well done also charged them to sustain the tempo, this he maintained will deny economic saboteurs any freedom.to operate in the Niger Delta region.
