Tinubu set for One-Day official visit to Katsina
President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to undertake a one-day official visit to Katsina State this Friday.
The State Commissioner for Information, Dr Bala Salisu-Zango, disclosed this while briefing journalists on Wednesday in Katsina.
According to him, the President is expected to inaugurate two major projects executed by the administration of Governor Dikko Radda. These include the Eastern Bypass, which spans from Dutsin-ma Road through Kano and Daura Roads, terminating at Yandaki in Kaita Local Government Area.
President Tinubu is also slated to commission the State Agricultural Mechanisation Centre during the visit.
This marks President Tinubu’s first official visit to Katsina State since assuming office in 2023.
Dr Salisu-Zango further noted that the visit would offer the state government a chance to present some of its pressing challenges, particularly in the area of security, to the President.
He called on residents to turn out in large numbers to welcome the President and to ensure orderliness throughout the visit.
