Saliba commits future to Arsenal with new Five-Year deal
Arsenal defender William Saliba has signed a new five-year contract, pledging his long-term future to the club amid links with a potential move to Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old France international, whose previous deal was set to expire in June 2027, said his decision was driven by faith in manager Mikel Arteta and his coaching staff to help him become the best defender in the world.
Saliba joined Arsenal from Saint-Étienne in July 2019 but spent time on loan with Nice and Marseille before breaking into the Gunners’ first team.
Since making his debut in August 2022, he has established himself as a key figure in the squad, making 105 Premier League appearances, scoring six goals, and registering two assists.
