Flick sets high standards ahead of Barcelona’s PSG showdown
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has called for absolute discipline and intensity from his players as they prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain in tonight’s Champions League clash at the Camp Nou.
Labeling PSG as the best team in the world, Flick admitted the reigning European champions would present a huge challenge but insisted his side must execute their game plan to perfection.
The Catalans began their campaign with a 2-1 win over Newcastle United, thanks to a Marcus Rashford double, and hope to maintain that momentum. However, memories of their last meeting with PSG, a crushing 4-1 quarter-final defeat in April 2024, still linger.
Barcelona remain in strong domestic form, topping LaLiga after seven matches and staying unbeaten across all competitions, including a comeback 2-1 win over Real Sociedad on Sunday.
