Transcorp Hilton Abuja clarifies water supply disruption, says service fully restored
Transcorp Hilton Abuja has clarified reports circulating on social media regarding a water supply disruption at the hotel, describing them as misleading.
In a statement released on Thursday, the hotel confirmed that there was a brief, one-day interruption in water supply caused by emergency maintenance work carried out by the Federal Capital Territory Water Board (FCTWB), which began on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
Management said it immediately activated contingency measures to ensure uninterrupted service and maintain guest comfort throughout the period.
According to the hotel, water supply was fully restored on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, and has since remained stable across all facilities.
The statement further dismissed claims suggesting ongoing water shortages, insisting that operations have continued at full capacity.
“We appreciate the understanding and support of our guests and stakeholders. Transcorp Hilton Abuja remains committed to delivering the highest standards of hospitality and guest experience,” the hotel said.
