Just-In: Court adjourns El-Rufai’s trial to June 24
A Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna State has adjourned proceedings in the trial of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, until June 24, 2026.
The adjournment was announced during proceedings on Monday, with the court fixing the new date for the continuation of the case.
Details of the proceedings and the reasons for the adjournment were not immediately available at the time of filing this report.
El-Rufai, who served as governor of Kaduna State from 2015 to 2023, is facing trial before the Federal High Court over allegations that are currently being examined by the court.
