NAWOJ celebrates Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim as best performing female minister

The National Secretariat of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has warmly congratulated Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, on being named the Best Performing Female Minister.
In a statement issued by Wasilah Ladan, the National Secretary of NAWOJ, the National Chairperson, Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim, expressed the association’s pride in Hajiya Sulaiman-Ibrahim’s achievement. She was recognised at the African Iconic Women Recognition Awards for her exceptional work.
Hajiya Ibrahim commended the Minister for her outstanding contributions within a short time in office, particularly her efforts to inspire hope among Nigerian women. She highlighted the Minister’s remarkable impact during her first 100 days in office, aligning perfectly with the award’s theme: “Breaking Barriers, Building Legacies.”
NAWOJ has no doubt that Hajiya Sulaiman-Ibrahim’s wealth of experience—spanning over 20 years in leadership and professional roles—will continue to benefit the Nigerian government’s Renewed Hope Agenda, especially in advancing the welfare of women and children.
The association continues to celebrate the Honourable Minister and looks forward to strengthening its partnership with the Ministry to support women’s empowerment and gender equality in Nigeria.
