Kida started his career as a trainee engineer at Elf Petroleum Nigeria before moving to Total Exploration and Production, where he gained extensive industry experience.

In 2015, after years of dedication in the oil industry, Kida became the Deputy Managing Director of Deep Water Services at Total Nigeria, solidifying his position as a key player in the energy sector.
