Odumodublvck, Rema, Tems win big at the 17th Headies Awards (Full List)

The 17th Headies Awards, held in Lagos, Nigeria, celebrated the best of the Nigerian and African music scene, recognizing outstanding talent and achievements across various categories.
Among the notable winners, Odumodublvck claimed the prestigious Next Rated Artist award, surpassing fellow nominees Shallipopi, Qing Madi, and Ayo Maff. Zerry DL was awarded Rookie of the Year, while Davido earned the Digital Artist of the Year accolade. Rema won Afrobeats Album of the Year for his album HEIS, and Tems secured Best Recording of the Year for her hit song “Burning.”
The ceremony also honoured individuals for their contributions to the music industry with Special Recognition Awards, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, media mogul Alex Okosi, and former Nigerian Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick.
The Headies, one of Nigeria’s premier music award platforms, continues to celebrate excellence in the music industry.
This year’s event is one of two editions, with the 18th edition set to take place in December, compensating for the absence of the awards in 2024.
