Liverpool forward and Portuguese international, Diogo José Teixeira da Silva, widely known as Diogo Jota, has sadly passed away at the age of 28.

Born on December 4, 1996, in Porto, Portugal, Jota’s football journey was marked by resilience and skill. He quickly rose through the ranks in his home country, earning admiration across Europe for his sharp attacking play and versatility.
The talented right-footed forward, who could comfortably operate as a left or right winger, began his professional career in Portugal before achieving widespread recognition on the international stage.
Jota officially joined Liverpool FC on September 19, 2020, from Wolverhampton Wanderers, becoming a vital part of the Reds’ frontline with his speed, creativity, and goal-scoring ability.
His loss is a heavy blow to the football world and especially to Liverpool fans who adored him for his passion and contributions to the team.
