Beacon of hope: Emir of Ilorin commends Saleeman Adedoyin for philanthropic leadership

The Mai Martaba Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, has hailed Global IT leader and Founder/Chairman of SAS Foundation, Engineer Saleeman Adedoyin Saleeman, as a beacon of hope for the future of Ilorin.
The esteemed monarch lauded Adedoyin’s steadfast commitment to humanitarian service, highlighting how young visionaries like him exemplify the generosity and progressive spirit essential for societal growth. He expressed confidence that Adedoyin’s philanthropic initiatives would continue to inspire and uplift lives across the emirate.
Hosting a delegation from the SAS Foundation, led by its Head of Operations, the Emir commended their ongoing Ramadan Relief Outreach, which has positively impacted over 1,000 families within the Ilorin Emirate.
Expressing his appreciation, the Emir underscored the necessity of sustained charitable endeavours, describing them as pivotal to community development.
“I pray to Allah for enduring peace and prosperity among my people. Seeing young individuals like those in the SAS Foundation embody the spirit of giving is truly fulfilling,” remarked Alhaji Sulu-Gambari.
“We have witnessed your numerous philanthropic gestures. I urge you to remain steadfast in your mission. Our prayers and support are with you.”
The Emir further acknowledged Adedoyin’s profound compassion for the underprivileged, offering prayers for his continued success and divine guidance in his humanitarian journey.
Hassan Kabir, Head of Programmes and Operations at SAS Foundation, highlighted the remarkable impact of their Ramadan relief efforts, reiterating their unwavering commitment to alleviating hardship for the less privileged in Ilorin and beyond. He also sought the Emir’s blessings for their future endeavours.
In commemoration of the founder’s 34th birthday, SAS Foundation extended its outreach to local communities, correctional centres, and orphanages across Ilorin.
Mallam Muslim Saleeman, the foundation’s Director General, reaffirmed their dedication to grassroots development, stressing the transformative role of community-driven philanthropy.
Alhaji Abdulfatai Owonwami, Chairman of the Araromi Community, expressed gratitude for SAS Foundation’s interventions, acknowledging their significant impact on residents, particularly during Ramadan.
The foundation’s visit to the Ilorin Correctional Service facility and the Kwara State Children Reception Centre was met with appreciation from officials and beneficiaries alike.
Mr AbdulGafar Abdullateef, Welfare Officer at the correctional facility, emphasised the need for ongoing support for inmates, while Mrs Elizabeth Jegede, Head of the orphanage, commended SAS Foundation for its steadfast dedication to the welfare of vulnerable children.
