BREAKING: 24 abducted Kebbi schoolgirls regain freedom after security operation
The 24 students kidnapped from Government Girls Secondary School, Maga, in Kebbi State, have been rescued.
Security sources confirmed their release to Journalists on Tuesday, bringing relief to families and residents who had been gripped by fear since the abduction.
Although details of the operation that led to their freedom remain unclear, sources hinted that security agencies worked through the night to secure the safe return of the girls.
An official statement from the authorities is expected later tonight to provide more information on the rescue effort.
