FCT Police mourn Arise News Journalist killed in Abuja robbery

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has commiserated with the family, friends, and colleagues of Arise News journalist, Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu, who was killed during an armed robbery at her Katampe residence in Abuja on Monday, September 29, 2025.
In a condolence message, Commissioner of Police, CP Ajao Adewale, described the incident as a cruel and senseless act. He confirmed that a discreet and comprehensive investigation has been ordered, with intelligence and operational teams already deployed to track down and arrest the perpetrators.
The Command reassured residents of its commitment to public safety and urged members of the public to provide timely information that could assist ongoing investigations.
