FIFA suspends Republic of Congo

World football governing body, FIFA, has imposed an immediate suspension on the Republic of Congo Football Federation due to significant interference by third parties in the affairs of the organisation.
Congo’s national football team, the Red Devils, are currently in the same World Cup qualifying group as Morocco, Tanzania, Zambia, Niger, and Eritrea.
Their next scheduled match is an away game against Tanzania, which may be canceled unless the suspension is lifted beforehand.
With the suspension, the Congolese Football Federation loses all its membership rights as defined in Article 13 of FIFA’s statutes.
This suspension will remain in effect until further notice, meaning the country’s representative teams and affiliated clubs will be barred from participating in international competitions during this period.
