Forest advances to FA Cup Quarters

Nottingham Forest has advanced to the FA Cup quarter-finals after a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Ipswich Town at the City Ground.
The match ended 1-1 after extra time, with George Hirst giving Ipswich the lead before Ryan Yates equalized for Forest. Both teams battled fiercely, but it was goalkeeper Matz Sels who emerged as the hero, saving Jack Taylor’s penalty to secure a 5-4 shootout win.
This victory marks Forest’s second FA Cup quarter-final appearance in four seasons, where they will face Brighton.
With their Premier League campaign also in full swing, Forest sits third in the table and is eyeing Champions League qualification.
The team now prepares for a crucial clash against Manchester City on Saturday, as they continue their pursuit of success on multiple fronts.
