Nathan Tella confident Leverkusen can catch Bayern Munich in Title Race
Super Eagles winger Nathan Tella remains optimistic that Bayer Leverkusen can close the gap on Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich, despite trailing by eight points with 10 matches left in the season.
Leverkusen, the current title holders, delivered an emphatic 4-1 win against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, with Tella opening the scoring in the 26th minute.
Speaking to journalists, the 25-year-old forward reaffirmed the team’s determination to defend their crown, stating that they would not relent in their pursuit.
He stressed that Leverkusen would concentrate on their own performances and continue to pile pressure on Bayern as the season reaches its final stages.
