NAWOJ congratulates Dr. Abimbola Oyetunde on appointment as FRCN Bureau chief
The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has congratulated the Deputy National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Dr. Abimbola Oyetunde, on her appointment as Bureau Chief, FRCN Network, and Deputy Director News, Directorate Headquarters Annex, Ikoyi, Lagos.
NAWOJ described the appointment as a recognition of Dr. Oyetunde’s exceptional leadership, journalistic expertise, and dedication to excellence. The association commended her outstanding record, particularly during her tenure as General Manager of Bronze FM, Benin, which earned her widespread admiration.
In her new role, Dr. Oyetunde is expected to bring her wealth of experience to enhance news gathering and dissemination, while inspiring colleagues to uphold the highest standards of journalism.
The association expressed pride in her achievements and confidence that she will continue to contribute significantly to the growth and development of the profession.
NAWOJ leaders, Aisha Ibrahim, National Chairperson, and Wasilah Ladan, National Secretary, wished her success and reaffirmed support for her continued leadership and mentorship within the Union.
