NAWOJ FCT Chairperson, Bassey Ita Ikpang, receives outstanding Woman Leader in Media award

The Chairperson of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), FCT Chapter, Mrs. Bassey Ita Ikpang, has been honoured with the Outstanding Woman Leader in Media Award by the Fulfilling Your Destiny Foundation (FYDF).

The award ceremony was held on Saturday, 22nd November 2025, at Merite House, Abuja, and the award was received on her behalf by the Vice Chairperson of NAWOJ FCT, Mrs. Bolanle Ukpevo.

NAWOJ FCT appreciates Mrs. Bolanle Ukpevo for her exemplary representation at the event. Her commitment, poise, and dedication to the values of the association significantly enhanced the visibility of NAWOJ FCT at the ceremony. The association also acknowledges the contributions of Stellamaris Amunwa and Deborah Makoji, whose support and coordination strengthened the delegation and ensured seamless participation.
