Niger NUJ Council congratulates Women on International Women’s Day

The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Niger State Council has felicitated with all virtuous women around the globe and specifically , the women in the media in Niger state as the world celebrate International Women’s Day today.

In a message to commemorate the day, the State Chairman of NUJ Comrade Abu Nmodu said there is no better time to celebrate our female Journalists than now.

In view of this , Comrade Abu Nmodu joins all to honour and appreciate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women across the globe and the efforts of women Journalists in Niger state in shaping the society for better.

The State Chairman of NUJ stressed that, from whatever perspectives , women remained the vent on which the societal growths, developments and true progress are solidified.

Comrade Abu Nmodu pointed out that, as a union , NUJ celebrates international Women’s Day 2025 and in the most meaningful way send warm messages to all the women who deserve to know how special they are, to us and to humanity.
