Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck survives terrifying car crash

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, is recovering in hospital following a car accident that left his vehicle severely damaged.
The music star took to X.com on Tuesday to share the news, posting photos from both the hospital and the crash scene. Despite the severity of the accident, Odumodublvck remained in high spirits, reassuring fans: “Survived. The machine must arrive in one piece. It is a must. The machine is coming.”
The accident occurred on 25th February 2025, leaving the front of his car wrecked. Fortunately, he sustained only minor injuries and is currently receiving medical attention.
As soon as the news broke, fans flooded social media with messages of support, wishing him a speedy recovery.
Born in Lagos on 19th October 1993, Odumodublvck moved to Abuja at the age of seven. He attended Christ the King College in Gwagwalada, where he adopted the name “Odumodu” during his junior school years, before later studying at the University of Lagos.
A dominant figure in Nigeria’s music industry, Odumodublvck is renowned for his distinctive fusion of Afrobeat, drill, and grime, a style he calls “Okporoko Rhythms.” His sound blends highlife melodies with Nigerian Pidgin, vividly portraying life in his community.
In 2022, he secured a major record deal with Native Records in partnership with Def Jam, marking a significant milestone in his career. His hit songs, including “Picanto,” “Declan Rice,” and “Blood on the Dance Floor”— which topped the Nigerian charts—have solidified his reputation as a formidable force in the industry.
