Nigeria’s economy on the rise under President Tinubu, APC poised for 2027 success – Barr Eba

In a lively discussion on AIT’s Focus Nigeria, hosted by Dr Amaechi Anakwe on Tuesday, Barr Alphonsus Ogar Eba esq JP, State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Cross River State, a sharp and engaging legal expert, shared his insights on Nigeria’s recent bye-elections, the country’s economic progress under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s strong position heading into the 2027 general elections.
Barr Eba, known for his wit and clarity, as the foremost Political Evangelist praised the Tinubu administration for steering Nigeria’s economy towards recovery. “The economy is waxing stronger under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said. “His bold reforms are starting to bear fruit, stabilising key sectors and boosting confidence among Nigerians.” He highlighted policies like the removal of fuel subsidies and efforts to stabilise the naira as steps that, while tough, are laying the foundation for long-term growth.
Reflecting on the recent bye-elections across 12 states, Eba who is the Board Chairman of Rubber Research Institute Benin, pointed to the APC’s strong performance as evidence of its enduring popularity.
“The APC remains the most acceptable party to Nigerians,” he stated. “The results from these elections show that people trust the party’s vision and leadership.” He attributed the party’s success to its focus on delivering results and addressing the needs of ordinary citizens.
Looking ahead to 2027, Eba expressed confidence in the APC’s prospects, predicting that the successful pairing of President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima would likely continue. “The Tinubu-Shettima ticket is a winning formula,” he remarked. “Their leadership has shown resilience and commitment, and I believe Nigerians will back them again.” He dismissed concerns about the coalition of opposition challenges, noting that the APC’s track record and strategic planning give it a clear edge.
Eba’s analysis painted a picture of a nation on the path to economic recovery, led by a party that continues to connect with voters. His optimistic outlook underscored the APC’s strong momentum as it prepares for future elections, with Tinubu’s reforms and leadership at the forefront. The discussion, aired earlier today, offered a compelling case for why the ruling party remains a dominant force in Nigerian politics.
