NRC says Abuja–Kaduna train hiccups are under control
The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has assured passengers that the recent disruptions experienced on the Abuja–Kaduna rail line are temporary and not a result of neglect.
In a statement on Tuesday, the corporation explained that the interruptions were caused by routine operational issues that are already being fixed. The NRC noted that the Abuja–Kaduna corridor remains one of the most monitored and maintained routes in the country.
The management emphasized that safety and efficiency remain top priorities, adding that maintenance teams have been deployed to address the challenges and restore full service.
The corporation also appealed to passengers for patience, assuring them that normal train operations will continue without compromising safety standards.
