Onyemaechi wins Greek Super League title with Olympiacos
Nigeria defender Bruno Onyemaechi has secured his first Greek Super League title with Olympiacos after the team triumphed 1–0 over AEK Athens on Sunday night.
The victory, sealed by a second-half goal from Moroccan international Ayoub El Kaabi, confirmed Olympiacos’ unassailable lead in the league with three matches remaining.
Olympiacos now sit atop the table with 66 points, guaranteeing their championship victory. Onyemaechi, who joined the club on a permanent deal from Portuguese side Boavista in January, has featured in six league matches since his arrival, contributing to the team’s defensive strength.
This title marks a significant achievement for Onyemaechi in his career, as he continues to shine in the Greek league.
