I join our teeming members, women groups and associations to celebrate a young woman who has literally shattered the glass ceiling of her profession by being elected as the first female to occupy the Seat of NUJ FCT Council after over four decades.

She has in addition done marvellously well as Chair by initiating and embarking on so many laudable projects making the infrastructural development and welfare of members a top priority. Her tenure in office has witnessed unprecedented development and effective mobilization of members to participate actively in the affairs of the Union making her a foremost transformative Leader of our Era.

On Her birthday today the 24th of March 2026, I celebrate this media Icon of inestimable worth and pray for God’s manifold blessings upon her life.

Your new season is here my dear Trailblazer Chair. God will uplift and promote you in ways you cannot imagine.

Go forth in His Grace as you continue to thrive and excel to the glory of God until He makes your enemies your footstool.
