Quarter-Final fixtures confirmed in President Federation Cup

The race for semi-final spots in this year’s President Federation Cup will reach a decisive stage this weekend, as quarter-final matches are set to take place across various venues nationwide.
Akwa United of Uyo will clash with Kwara United on Saturday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, with the Promise Keepers aiming to claim a third FA Cup title in under ten years.
In other fixtures, surprise contenders Abakaliki FC will take on Nasarawa United in Benin City, while Wikki Tourists of Bauchi are set to face Ikorodu City in Abuja.
Also in the Federal Capital, Plateau United of Jos will go head-to-head with Rangers International of Enugu in what is expected to be a pulsating encounter.
In view of these Federation Cup fixtures, the Nigeria Premier Football League will take a break this weekend, with matches scheduled to resume next Wednesday.
The eventual winner of the President Federation Cup will earn the right to represent Nigeria in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
